MIDWEST® POWER CUTTER® Long Cut Aviation Snips feature a 3" (7.6 cm) cut length to reduce bites when cutting long sheets of thin material, as well as a wide opening to cut off vinyl siding nail hem and corrugated roofing material. Can be used in either hand. These snips feature GLIDETECH® FORGED BLADES: unrivaled strength, longer-lasting cutting edge life, and the most precise cutting action. Blades are hot drop-forged of molybdenum alloy steel and Austemper® heat-treated for optimum recognition and retention of their precision ground cutting edge. Blades cut completely by "shearing of the blades through their tips" and pivot on a Grade 8 bolt threaded and secured into the bottom blade, which keeps them in precise adjustment and, if necessary, allows readjustment for prolonged maximum performance. Equipped with the KUSH'N-POWER® compound leverage handle, which multiplies handle force and provides a soft, tough, and comfortable grip. Made in USA!
